Multi-Insulated: The use of tiles in the burn chamber instead of conventional steel reduces metal to metal heat conduction. In addition to the tiles, we apply a high temperature ceramic based thermal coating throughout the interior of the units which further reduces heat transfer and preserves the integrity of the overall structure.

Flexible Designs: We give you the ability to choose options for specific placement of additional Windows, Doors and Roof Hatch Configurations. The portability of the unit allows you easy relocation to training grounds or specific training events. The 8x30' or 8x40' lengths make it easy to place the unit on an existing property with no real estate commitment.

Safer Training: There is no substitute for live fire training. Recognizing Fire Evolution, Pre-Flashover conditions and Fire Behavior first hand is crucial. We provide an environment that you can safely conduct and duplicate these conditions over and over again at an affordable cost.

Floor Plans: With a wide variety of ways to configure the units including the configurable maze within the deck area, our engineering & fabrication staff will build the unit for your needs based on what type of training you intend to implement.

Burn Chamber: The Revolutionary Fire Tiles that we use in the burn chamber resist extreme temperatures as well as Thermal Shock, placing fewer restrictions on Live Fires. The tiles are installed with an additional layer of the same material behind each panel. The steel flooring in the burn chamber is covered with block which reduces heat transfer through the floor.

The Open Bay Live Fire Training Systems are the base systems in our available growing family of Live Fire Training Structures and Towers. This system has a large open area and incorporates compartment Flashover-Rollover Simulation, Fire Suppression, Interior Attack and General Fire layering and Behavior.

The " Open Bay System” is designed for live fire behavior training as well as interior attack. The structures can also be customized with additional windows, doors and more. The base package features a new 40 foot ISO certified container with a ceramic thermal coated interior and diamond plate non-slip steel flooring that is stitch welded to the cross members and perimeter. The burn chamber is multi-layered fireproof tiles with a block flooring and drainage ports. Heavy duty steel suspension chains line the ceiling, walls and end doors of the burn chamber. The system includes a 5'X5' steel burn crib. The tile lined ventilation hatch is operated by an exterior winch enabling finely tuned ventilation exercises. Our heavy duty non latching side door has tile wrapped door jambs to prevent warping. The system includes an additional ventilation hatch to further manipulate the event. The entry door is equipped with hose line modification opening or optional FDC connection that allows a hose mobility in the training area.

The "Flash-Master" flashover simulation system is comprised of an 8’X 10’ burn module and an 8’ X 20’ open bay training or observation area. The burn chamber is coated with a thermal ceramic insulation and then layered with tiles on the walls, ceiling and load doors to provide the highest level of insulation. The flooring is heavy gauge steel topped with block. The walls, ceiling and load doors have heavy duty material support chains.

The transition from the burn module to the observation or training area has been modified to include a deflection barrier that protects against excess heat from the floor of the burn chamber. The observation area also has an additional adjustable deflector that controls heat build up in the rear of the training area. The event hatch in the observation area is controlled at a low level in order to safely induce the rollover-flashover event into the observation area. The rear hatch allows ventilation and safely reduces the amount of heat and smoke in the training area. The training area is also coated with thermal ceramic insulation and equipped with durable thermal coated bench seating. The forward portion of the observation area has an additional steel lining and is thermal coated. The rear personnel doors are non-latching and 4’ wide. The double personnel end doors are configured for quick exit. The unit comes complete with non-slip steel retractable loading platforms, guardrail system and stairs.
